The Loire has more châteaux than a single day can hold, and trying to see them all is how a day trip turns into a marathon. The honest answer is two, perhaps three: Chambord for its sheer scale and double-helix staircase, Chenonceau arching over the river, Amboise and Clos Lucé if Leonardo draws you.
From Paris it is about two hours each way, so the route matters. We plan it with you around what you actually want to see, a vineyard stop in Vouvray, lunch in a village, the gardens at Chaumont in season, and your chauffeur holds the whole day together within the agreed return time.
